Accidental Damage Cover
When you purchase a pair of spectacles or prescription sunglasses as an eyeplan member, they are automatically covered against any accidental damage for a period of 2 years. There is a small excess charge dependant on the nature of the repair, and this should not exceed 15% of the total price originally paid.
Example Original price on eyeplan = £200
15% = £ 30
i.e. It will cost no more than £30 to repair the damaged spectacles.
The Accidental Damage Scheme does not cover loss of spectacles. Many people do claim for lost spectacles on their own personal insurance policies, however, you would of course receive the special eyeplan prices on a replacement pair.
