Children's Frames

If your child requires glasses as a result of the examination, you will receive a contribution from the NHS to fully or partially cover the cost.

The fit of a childs frame is extremely important and our fashionable range of childrens eyewear and sunglasses ensures that with the skill of our dispensing opticians, your child will be happy and comfortable in their new spectacles.

We stock a large selection of children's frames, many of which have special features designed for young faces, such as:

spring hinges - gives the sides more flexibility when taking frames on and off.
saddle bridge - this is a flexible, one-piece nose pad.
curl sides - these give better grip behind the ears making it harder for the frame to be pulled off, ideal for very young children or babies.

Our 'star' collection features frames which are provided free under the NHS voucher scheme.

Loops Frames

A new spring hinge has been incorporated into these frames - now bending 180°! This feature gives even more resistance to breakage of sides. Some models in this range also have a memory bridge (similar material to that used in Flexon frames), which makes the frame more resilient to a child's handling!
