Vision is critical in our ability to judge the flight, speed and position of a ball or shuttle as it approaches at speed.
We use peripheral vision to establish where your partner or opponent is on the court - reduced performance in this area will affect how a shot is placed.
When playing outdoors the eyes need to be protected from sunlight using wraparound sunglasses incorporating protection from ultra violet (UV) light.
